a very quick update

We broke down.... in a one-way tunnel going down a very steep mountain. Long story short: the timing belt snapped and the engine is dead, along with the mamba. So we took everything out of the van, put some stuff in a locker and the rest in our packs... and now we are hitch-hiking the rest of this country. full details later, internet is silly expensive. much love!

I can't believe it's April...

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a while. I figured I better put out an update before I leave. This week I've actually been a student... reading, writing, testing, and stressing (not really that last one). I cannot believe time is passing so fast here, I'm just trying to take it all in. This last weekend I finally got to go rafting, and it was so much fun. The river ran through such a beautiful gorge, and it felt amazing to just be out on the water again! We hit some Class V rapids, and it was interesting for me to compare their safety talk with my own... and their commmands with my commands. I also fell out of the raft and took a little swim :) The trip wouldn't be complete without a dip...

After rafting we got to do some cliff-jumping... 10m... about 30 feet... very fun :)

We had a BBQ afterwards and the food was great - it was such a fabulous day!
